TDD Foundation UG was established in 2025 in Mbale City, Eastern Uganda, by four community members who had watched too many children fall out of school because of poverty, family loss, and the recurring devastation of landslides in the Mt. Elgon region. Nambozo Ramona, Wambwa David, Onyango Sharon, and Mabala Flavia came together with a shared conviction: that education is the most powerful tool available to break cycles of poverty — and that no child should be denied it because of circumstances beyond their control. What began as a small community initiative has since reached 455 homeless ,supported 120 families, children and we are growing.
Our Vision
We envision a Mbale and Eastern Uganda where no child’s future is determined by the poverty, grief, or disaster they were born into — where every young person, no matter their circumstances, can learn, grow, and lead.
Our Mission
The mission of TDD Foundation UG is to ensure that vulnerable children and youth in Mbale City and Eastern Uganda access quality education, adequate nutrition, and psychosocial support — regardless of poverty, family loss, or displacement caused by natural disasters. We walk alongside the families and communities that make this possible

Our Goal
At the Tabernacle of Divine Delights Foundation, our ultimate goal is to create lasting, transformative impact for vulnerable children and their families in Mbale City and the wider Eastern Uganda region, breaking cycles of poverty, hunger, and instability so every child can learn, grow, and thrive with dignity and hope. We pursue this through targeted, sustainable efforts in our three core programs:
– Ensuring all children have consistent access to quality education and remain in school, building strong foundational skills for lifelong success
– Eliminating hunger and malnutrition barriers so children can attend school regularly, focus effectively, and develop to their full physical and cognitive potential.
– Empowering families and communities with resources, skills training, and support to achieve self-sufficiency, overcome root causes of vulnerability, and foster resilient, hopeful environments where children can flourish.
